Introverted Thinking, or ‘Ti’, is a judging function that’s often correlated with technical precision and impersonal logic.

  • It’s the primary function of ISTPs and INTPs
  • It’s the auxiliary function of ESTPs and ENTPs
  • It’s the tertiary function of ISFJs and INFJs
  • It’s the inferior function of ESFJs and ENFJs

Ti evaluates information based on logical consistency.

When Ti is used in a mature way, it leads to elegant, harmonious & precise logic. People using introverted thinking in this way will tend to exhibit a measured, objective & balanced energy.

When Ti is used in an immature way, a person can become unnecessarily blunt or lost in details or complexity. People using introverted thinking in this way can appear cruel or impractical.
