
Introverted iNtuition, or ‘Ni’, is a perceiving function that’s often correlated with creativity & insight.
- It’s the primary function of INFJs and INTJs
- It’s the auxiliary function of ENFJs and ENTJs
- It’s the tertiary function of ISFPs and ISTPs
- It’s the inferior function of ESFPs and ESTPs
Ni juxtaposes data in the unconscious in order to mine patterns and insight.
When a person uses Ni in a mature way, they consider it’s limitations and biases. People using introverted intuition in this way will tend to appear balanced and measured.
When Ni is used in an immature way, a person may believe their intuitions indiscriminately. People using introverted intuition in this way can appear paranoid or out of sync with objective reality.
